 The content filtering, intrusion prevention and detection, access control and reporting in ClarkConnect / ClearOS are the simplest, most cost-effective solution available. By day I work for a large healthcare company in the US. Regulation and compliance require strict oversight of internet activity. ClearOS has the components to meet and exceed these concerns for physician practices, dental offices and other medical businesses. Flexible Gateway/Firewall with Simple User Interface
 I've installed ClearOS (ClarkConnect) for a number of clients including small business and schools. ClearOS has a number of things going for it including an easy user interface, powerful and flexible feature set, and very reasonable cost. I find it makes a great firewall for small business that needs more sophistication that just a $40 hardware router can provide. It works well as both an IPSec and PPTP VPN endpoint. It's also a good match for schools looking to comply with regulations requiring protecting children from inappropriate content. It's filtering is above average (though not perfect [without updates]), and it's very reasonably priced for schools looking for a bargain. I also used a ClarkConnect (ClearOS) box for my own business. Keep up the good work! |

Excellent Solution for Municipalities
 We have been using the ClearOS family of products since 2002 when we moved away from a home grown Linux based firewall/email system. The flexibility and ease of configuration have let us meet every need that has been presented. From an integrated email system, firewall, VPN endpoint to web server we have been able to keep our operation running smoothly and securely with a minimum of time spent on administration. |
