You Can't Ask For Software This Good!
 Absolutely no problems recommending the product. We use it for a school and a home and we love it. The school had no prior firewall, and was spending a fortune on all kinds of different solutions to accomplish one task. I happened to come across ClearOS (formerly ClarkConnect). Tried it at home and thought that it was Great! At a reasonable cost I was able to provide a complete solution for the school. There are 90 workstations on a ClearOS (formerly ClarkConnect) box running just a simple single core processor with a single gig of memory. You can't ask for that. There was never a day that the server was down. It never stopped! The solution is perfect for the business environment. |

Low cost and reliable
 I have installed this in two private schools. They are always running on and shoe string budget but they are in need of a reliable server, firewall, and content filter. This OS helped me get them what they needed with a minimum of cost and a maximum of up time and utility. |

Flexible Gateway/Firewall with Simple User Interface
 I've installed ClearOS (ClarkConnect) for a number of clients including small business and schools. ClearOS has a number of things going for it including an easy user interface, powerful and flexible feature set, and very reasonable cost. I find it makes a great firewall for small business that needs more sophistication that just a $40 hardware router can provide. It works well as both an IPSec and PPTP VPN endpoint. It's also a good match for schools looking to comply with regulations requiring protecting children from inappropriate content. It's filtering is above average (though not perfect [without updates]), and it's very reasonably priced for schools looking for a bargain. I also used a ClarkConnect (ClearOS) box for my own business. Keep up the good work! |
