where to find my clearOs log file on the server 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hi there

my firewall doesn't permit me to access a specific website , i don't know why so i need to know where to find
my clearOs log file on the server ??

i see this error when i open the website via fierfox
"The connection has timed out"

also i know that the problem is within the clearOs because i traced the domain ,check this

\Users\alber>tracert domain.tld

tracing route to domain.tld over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms xx.xxx.xxx.xxx
3 * * * Request timed o ---->>> firewall
4 12 ms 11 ms 11 ms 172.19.1.173
5 139 ms 139 ms 140 ms 64.214.151.81

advice please

Logs are in /var/log/...... but it depends on whichone you want. There is no logging done by the firewall. The proxy logs to files /var/log/squid and the protocol filter to files in /var/log/dansguardian-av.

The failing tracert does not mean the firewall is necessarily blocking things. It means it is just not responding to the relevant icmp requests.
