Hi all, I got real issue

I have installed ntop to my clearOS 5.2. and it's successed.
I followed instruction like in this link (www.clearfoundation.com/docs/howtos/band..._reporting_with_ntop) but, after all instruction, I unable to access it. looks no link to ntop. "cannot connect" to 192.168.2.1:3000

any idea from all of you to resolve this issue.

thanks very much.

Hello,

I tried the ntop install. Everything works fine but ClearOS's content filter blocks ntop. I tried unblocking the IP address but content filter doesn't allow IP address.

This is the error I get:

The content filter has blocked the page that you have requested.
Content Filter Warning
Web Site Address linkhelp.clients.google.com/tbproxy/lh/fixurl?hl=en-U ...
Description Banned URL -- google.com/tbproxy

If someone could share on this, that would be great.

Hello,

I did get to work after all. I forgot to do the password creation command.

Respects,

Hi Mitja, your nearly there!
Code:

yum --enablerepo=base-extras install ntop

NTOP will install and configure it self to run on port 3000, so you can then point your web browser to clearosIP:3000

Hi Tim
we could access ntop by clearosip:3000 ===> the clearoip means local IP right?
and how can we make to accessing ntop by publicip?

Please advice

Thanks a lot
