Welcome to ClearFoundation.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the community. Thank you for your posts, thank you for your contributions, and thank you for sharing your valuable time with us. Our hope is to make free and open source software available to everyone.
We have many exciting things happening this month and we are entering a new phase. Several things that we have on the road map. Many of these items include the
very things you want as a community. We are getting excited for ClearOS 6.0 and the community involvement that can occur with this new platform.
As we begin this new phase, new chapter and new era, we want to reach out to the community and make sure that your voices are heard, that your needs are met, and your wants fulfilled. To this end we will be reviewing various volunteer positions in the community including community manager positions for various language, country, development, and other focus groups. For those of you already serving in various designated posts within ClearFoundation, you can contact me directly at my ClearFoundation email (daveloper clearfoundation com) or I will be reaching out to you. For positions opening up, I will be posting some specific requirements in this thread and specific needs. If you feel like you have a special skill or you want to promote ClearFoundation and you want to help please email volunteer -at- clearfoundation dot com. Please note, all positions are volunteer.
Additionally, feel free to join the clearfoundation channel on irc [dot] freenode [dot]net. This channel is for everyone. I will be joined to the channel most of the time but will not be available all of the time. Please use the forums for technical questions (chat is not reliable for ensuring that someone is on or listening), please email me or send a message through the community portal if you have a private question.
