Sorry i dont know the answer to that.

Cant see why you might whant to ether but if i where to block any IP's id do it with my firewall, in my case my ClearOS box

Sorry cant be more help

EDIT: Just re-read your post simon and you say you wish to install on you gateway. So why not tell your gateway what IP's to block from webconfig?

Why not use moblock for this.
Its what I use on all my seed box's. Works well, but as anything you may have to fine tune it to not block what you really need at times.
I have made tutorials on it in the past, but will have to make one for ClearOS now also.
I will post it when I get around to it.
Moblock is 100 times better than IPfilter for windows without a doubt also.

Thanks,

Thank you - the tutorial was perfect however I realised that you do have to read these things very carefully as it is easy to read ahead and not follow a step!

Thanks again.

Re:Torrentflux 2.4 How To 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Great job, it went much better than my install of Torrentflux-b4rt I did on my ClarkConnect box a few years ago. But that does not mean all is well, I have several problems.

a problem with the "URL for the Torrent Flile: when I paste the URL and select get "Get File" it will just hang and stop refreshing the page nothing will happen.

I don't know if this is related but I tried to do a torrent search and it will come back that it can not reach Google or any any other provider that I select.

I can upload a file and it will work but I noticed that I am not seeding.

Any ideas?

Re:Torrentflux 2.4 How To 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Ok strangest thing, I had torrentflux 2.4 running for ages, then lastnight I went to upload a torrent and was surprised to see it asking me where I wanted to save the file index.php I clicked cancel and now everytime I go and click home or login I am prompted with the same thing.......I can access the admin page and so on but I am unable to goto the actual torrent home page it's as if PHP isn't installed which of course it is, can anyone shine any light?
I found these in /var/www/httpd/error_log

[Mon Feb 21 20:20:40 2011] [notice] child pid 3453 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Mon Feb 21 20:20:41 2011] [notice] child pid 3449 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Mon Feb 21 20:20:41 2011] [notice] child pid 12185 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Mon Feb 21 20:21:01 2011] [notice] child pid 12223 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Any advice would be great,

Thanks Len.

Update: Thought I had maybe deleted a file somehow by mistake so I did a fresh install of ClearOS 5.2 and believe it or not I have completely wasted my time as in doing so as I am presented with the same problem!!! grr!

Re:Torrentflux 2.4 How To 6 Months ago
I deleted my old torrentflux folder and contents on accident a few months ago. I'm getting around to setting it up again. My only problem is that after I unpackage everything and setup the DB from scratch there's no config.php file. I can't find it anywhere.

Am I missing a step here? I may have deleted the old config file as well. If so can I create a new one? Anyone have an example I can use?
