Re:ClearOS 6.3.0 Test Release 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Sorry..this is my fault. The Marketplace app versioning and the repository mirrors are out of sync. We have a manual script that has quickly become obsolete that developers can use to submit version information to the Marketplace when they push an update through. Its too much manual legwork, so this week, my task is to automate the syncing in Marketplace to that which is our repos.

Until then, these types of errors (eg. false upgrade notifications) will occur.

When I try to execute
Code:

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing upgrade

I get
Code:

Error getting repository data for updates-testing, repository not found

so where would I be adding which repository url ?

Thanks in advance

Edit : using
Code:

yum --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing upgrade

works Thanks Tony

Re:ClearOS 6.3.0 Test Release 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
we have some troubles in ClearOS 6 Community after update to 6.3, but the update using yum update command, not yum --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing upgrade.

first, in ip settings

interface: ppp0
rules: External
type: PPPoE
ipaddress:"empty" <-
link: Yes

ipaddress become empty and the connection become unstable.
then we tried to downgrade to ClearOS 5.2 (in the same machine), result, we found no problem there.

the other, default proxy and firewal become failed after update. we tried to reinstall (clean install mode) ClearOS 6.2, then we update it to 6.3 (again), we found the problem is still there.

anyone experiencing the same thing?

thanks

With respect to the people working on the Zarafa project; is it going to be possible to use the mail without it like using Opera mail client connecting to imap or pop3 like in 5.2 ?

There is talk of implementing the mail stack similar to the 5.2 one but with something like Roundcube instead of Horde for webmail. This would allow you to use the pop and imap method as you do now. We just have to wait .......

This is the free alternative proposed if you don't want Zarafa.

I just installed the app app-imap and cyrus-imapd and it showed up on the form, guess that answers that question, the question is will it work with the users ?

Any word on a fix for dsl connections ?
I can not use clearos 6.3 in gatway mode because dsl connection will not connect. in 6.2 dsl worked.
Must have something to do with the wireless addon in 6.3.

Sam, can you provide any more details on the problem so that people can try and replicate it? hardware / connection etc? any clues /var/log/system or 'dmesg'?
