Sorry I forgot to add, is z-push coming to 6.2 via repo or will that require to install manually?

Sounds good, do you know if there's a way to access a phpmyadmin version of the system mysql or will it all be command line based?

That's possible with some phpMyAdmin configuration file tweaks. I added to the tracker as a wish list / feature.

Its undocumented but at present you can uncomment the section in /etc/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php (by removing /* and */) to enable you to login to system-mysql via phpMyAdmin Just select host 127.0.0.1:3308

Code:

if (file_exists('/var/lib/system-mysql/mysql.sock')) {
        $cfg['Servers'][2]['host'] = '127.0.0.1';
        $cfg['Servers'][2]['port'] = '3308';
        $cfg['Servers'][2]['socket'] = '/var/lib/system-mysql/mysql.sock';
        $cfg['Servers'][2]['connect_type'] = 'tcp';
        $cfg['Servers'][2]['auth_type'] = 'cookie';
}

You'll also need to hard code the mysqldump commands to the right path in that script for it to work...

Aha... I knew that I had played around with that before!

It looks like z-push is proprietary.

? Z-push is released under AGPL and is an excellent addition to the Zarafa suite...

An el6 rpm sits in the rpm fusion repo

Where did you see this? I can't seem to find it anywhere

Peter, I can help you on this one..

forums.zarafa.com/showthread.php?7474-Za...n-Ubuntu-12-04/page2

The difference between the opensource and the free version is:
Opensource = only the open sourced code. So no licensed and outlook client.
Free = Open source + licensed so you can connect with 3 free outlook users.

I have successfully installed the beta 2 release (I think) and everything seems to be working all features turned on and activated in the users but no mail is sent or received when I try test messages.

I can even access the zarafa mail page remotely ( webaccess) but no mail

Do I need to open ports on my modem if so which ones?

Anything else that may help would be appreciated ie are there logs that I could check for errors?

I've just experienced a similar problem trying out this Beta... maybe this might help...

I setup my users with space quotas - and no mail...
Changed all users to 'Unlimited' and everything started working OK.
