ClearCenter repeats with Best New Product award at CompTIA Breakaway.

For everyone out there who was not here a REPEAT!!!!!!! Everyone missed a great time, I just want to thank everyone with ClearCenter you guys for making me feel just like one of you.

Just to let everyone know the entire crew at ClearCenter are GREAT people

I know I should have taken a picture but the Clear Booth was the ONLY one with more than 3-4 people around it at all times!! Most of the time I saw they were 5+ people there.

That was how impressed everyone was wit it - but we all know that here

It was very nice hanging out with you Tracy. I'm going to have to improve my armadillo racing skills before my next trip to Texas

I really want to thank all those who made the Breakaway event a memorable time. It was very validating to see that people want these technologies and solutions. I'm truly humbled by the response that we saw to the product.

The morning after the awards, I wandered down to breakfast just before they started to remove the food. I was bleary eyed from having gone to bed late that night after the awards ceremony. A lady down at the breakfast buffet realizing my association with ClearCenter and my obvious state of weariness asked if was tired from too much partying. I had to admit that I indeed stayed up too late but that we (Shad, Peter, and me) had stayed up late working out some of the design objectives for the next 6 months and the challenges that face us...


...To which she replied, "you need to get a life!"

I'm so very grateful to be part of this wonderful project and for the many people on the forums who participate. I'm grateful to those of you who answer questions posed on the forums, and those those who pose the questions. Knowing how you use the product, what it does well, and what it admittedly doesn't do well, helps us all make it a better thing for everyone. You guys are awesome and the award goes to you and all those myriad of individual that make the components of ClearOS.

So thank you Linus, and Tridge. Thanks Mr. Stallman, thanks J E Lilienfeld, Thank you David Axmark and Michael Widenius. Thank you Peter, Ben, Darryl, John, and everyone who are partners and all those who participate on the forums, bug lists, and internationalization teams. Thank you all who voted for us at CompTIA.
