Hello everyone,

First, thank you for all the feedback so far. It's very helpful! There are certainly going to be some growing pains as we fine tune the web site, add new tools and add more content. Whether it's a simple request to add a new forum topic or a more complex request to add a bug tracker, you will find out what we're doing in the following web document:

Hi Peter and other developers,

I didn't know if I should make a new thread for this, but I decided to add it to this existing thread.
I appreciate that the new User Guides have been completed and are also down-loadable in PDF format, but the 'old' links / references in the forum do not get redirect to the same new (on-line) User Guide pages.

example:

Configure Partitioning and RAID (link from an old post)

RAID Support (new, AFAIK the same info)

Feel free to remove this post if it is not placed correctly or if I don't see it correctly.

Hi John,

The old links on clearfoundation.com are getting redirected. You did catch one bug though! The following document title/URL changed from:

Configure Partitioning and RAID

to:

Configuring Partitions and RAID

That redirect was broken (fixed now).

I hope this is the best place to post feedback/suggstions for the forums (to me it seemes to be) but I would like to suggest an area for people (in the general chat section) to kinda introduce them selves (if they want) and get to know other users of the Clear OS software/hardware...

The Live DEMO's are sometimes flakey.

At the moment they arent accessible...

I would like to see an article (and a few how-to's) on ClearOS security; recommended and not so recommended ways of administering a ClearOS box. I'm a newb when it gets to the details of what hackers look for and common ways of exploiting systems.

Some docs on the log files would be a nice addition as well.

Dunno if its worth the time... or counter productive.
