ClearFoundation and ClearCenter have moved to the new website ClearOS.com (https://clearos.com). We are making this change in order to improve search and exposure of ClearOS to the world. There are several improvements that are being made and some that are still on the table for development. The forums are now live on clearos.com and locked on this site until all the redirects are in place. If you have issues using the new site, feel free to ask on the #clearfoundation room in IRC chat on freenode.net or engage with a chat agent on the site if they are around. Our goal is to complete this step so that we can be properly ready for the types of communication that will be essential for the release of ClearOS 7!
Can the community version do DHCP Relay?
I am hoping to use clearOS as our primary firewall/router but our network has 4 VLANs, each with it's own subnet and the only DHCP server I want is running, is already on the server.
Layer 3 switches handle this with an "ip-helper address" but my HP switches only do layer 2 so I am hoping the clearOS box can handle forwarding the DHCP requests from all VLANs to the DHCP server.
VLAN 1 - 10.10.1.x
VLAN 2 - 10.10.2.x
VLAN 5 - 10.10.5.x
VLAN 10 - 10.10.10.x
If this is possible, my second question is "does dhcp relay also work on virtual interfaces" or do I need all physical ports?
