TOPIC: Unable to get Radius Server on Web browser
#43192
Unable to get Radius Server on Web browser 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Dear all,

I have installed ClearOs 6.2 with 64 bits on a machine with enough ram and hard disk space.

I want Captive portal working on my ClearOs server however I am unable to go ahead as I am not successful with the following link below

www.clearfoundation.com/docs/howtos/sett...eradius2_to_use_ldap

yum --enablerepo=base-plus install app-freeradius

above command gives and error as ClearOs does not have the base-plus repo so I ran the command
yum install freeradius which installed the radius server however it is not reflecting on webpage under Network.

Please help as I am unable figure out where am I going wrong.

Thanks in advance

I don't know if it is available yet in 6.2 and I can't check for the moment. The repo set up in 6.2 is different from 5.2. Try:
Code:

yum list app-freeradius --enablerepo=*

to see if it is anywhere in the 6.2 repos.

Thanks

I did run the below command

#yum list app-freeradius --enablerepo=*

But even this does not help me to get radius server on webpage under Network. Any other suggestions are welcome.

That command just shows you where to find it - in clearos-updates-testing. If it is in that repo it is there for testing. You could install it with "yum install app-radius --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing" but the risk is yours.
