6.2 standalone static IP no gateway setting 11 Months ago
Hello,

I'm trying to configure a test environment with ClearOS 6.2. Need it to work on LAN with static IP and be able to connect to the Internet and other LAN's.
Unfortunately I haven't found where I can specify the gateway for the network connection in static IP mode.
Will try to set it in /etc/sysconfig/network, but seems strange.

Hello,

When you are configuring the network interface, set the "role" to "External" and the gateway setting will appear.

Thank you! I should have read the user guide .)
Though even adding the gateway in system settings and being able to trace/ping outside of the LAN, web interface stated there's no Internet connection and couldn't go to marketplace, system registration etc.
Seem to work now.
