TOPIC: Change from PPP to ETH
#11707
Change from PPP to ETH 2 Years, 12 Months ago
I have three WAN ports currently on my ClearOS box. I had two PPPoE connections, and one DHCP Ethernet. I want to convert one of the PPPoE connections back to straight ETH but it appears my only option is to delete the connection. I've done this in the past and my only way to get the ethernet to show back up is by reloading the server. This is not ideal. Does anybody have a better solution? Thank you.

I will be working on this server Friday May 28th if. I'm hoping to have an answer before that.

If you delete the PPPoE connection, it will revert to its original ethX connection which you can then configure as you want.
