Filtering for home use..... 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
I was looking for a solution to filter the web. My friend has 3 kids ages 8 thru 17 and he asked me if there was a way to setup a old computer to filter his 3 computers from inappropriate web content. I have used IPCOP for this in the past but it doesn't seem to be in active development. I have an old P4 w/ 512mb of memory and was wondering if ClearOS would do the trick?

Definitely! whats your friends network config? ClearOS works well as a gateway device
