I have been an active SME-SERVER for a long time, I am looking towards ClearOS, as I see the community is very strong. I need (re: NEED) a mailing list server on my ClearOS installation.
In the past, I did try ClearOS, and failed miserably with installing mailman. I really want to use a mailing list that will modify (Re: prefix) subjects. Example:
list@mydomain.com
Modify the subject to whatever I choose. For instance, [Chat] gets prefixed in the subject.
I used ezmlm on SME server, and it worked incredibly well.
Mailman should do the same... but when I tried installing mailman... it failed miserably.
Does anyone have any good instructions on doing this?
My plan is as follows:
ClearOS with Zarafa and z-push, with mailman.
I am hoping I don't need to use subdomains.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
