Hello all,

I created a flexshare with ftp access from the outside for testing. The problem is that the first time I accessed it with my filezilla ftp client, it created a loop on itself.



This alreday happened without creating a ftp access ...

now, if from the commande line I make a search (find -name ...) i get the following error :

file loop system detected './var/flexshare/shares/webdavprof' is part of the same file system loop as './var/flexshare/shares'.

Is there a way to solve this ?

Im having the exact same issue here, plus i cant access the FlexShare Shares neither through FTP or Windows Sharing

I saw this also at RC1 stage but couldn't replicate it..have a look in /etc/fstab and remove the offending mount bind entry for your flexshare

I'd be interested to know if / how you can get it to reappear?

Tim, in my case, its totally random, when I create shares through the webconfig, sometimes it creates them properly, and sometimes it loops itself, as the image in the first post shows.

Also, i cannot access, modify or create content on the folders with my FTP client, I always receive the error: 550 /: No such file or directory

I could recreate the problem and it's worth I was first thinking. I first create a flexshare and save it. Then I wento to the windows fil share and enabled it. Finally, I went back to the Settings and edited the flexshare again. When I saved it, it recreated under my flexhshare all the existing structure ; so I get all my flexshares under the new one !!
