ClearFoundation

Dear all,

I have installed ClearOs 6.2- 64 bits on a machine which has enough of ram and hard disk space .

I got all applications from the marketplace which are opensource.

I tried to generate the Directory Server and it has been spinning since morning and nothing happens I rebooted the machine twice and again I tried to generate the Directory Server and same thing continues with a message generating configuration.

I did configure dhcp and it is working fine as I got a client attached to the same machine and it is able ping the Clear Os server and also browse the web and with no issue.

Please help please tell me where have I gone wrong.

Same problem. I installed ClearOS 6.2 x64 with roles: Directory server, Advanced Print server, FTP server, Flexshare, Windows Networking and Web server (all free).

When I start Directory server, message "Directory status: Generating configuration..." appears and dont finishing. Help.

I'm running ClearOS 6.2 32-bit...

Fresh install, (all free modules possible, maybe minus one or two, here or there)
after install, reboot
once rebooted, i hit ssh and ran yum update

reboot once more, and Bam..
Went to Directory services, and it fails.. Same errors as the users above.. .I'm stuck, what to do? ;]

I guess its back to ClearOS 5.2 for now :/

i have reinstalled and i corrected the mistake i made during the instillation. when i added my domain name i entered a double period. eg. example..com. directory service is working now.
