ClearFoundation

Quick question and I apologize if it is a silly one or in the wrong area.

I have a clearos system that is being used as a file server. It died so I recovered the backup on a fresh build and reset the permissions on the folders with the Chmod -R 2777 /foldername.
Then rebooted and it started hanging on Starting Slapd.

Not sure why or if it had any relation to what I did.

Could the data I copied back have caused it?
