And bind isn't all that bad. Heck it's been running the vast majority of the internet name service for quite a while. Once you get it right on a fair size network one time then the light bulb comes on and you understand it. Samba 4 would allow me to finally shutdown and retire our old Active Directory server. There's a big question mark with the state of the DNS integration. Right now, Samba 4 relies on "hooks" into bind. bind => do not like.
