I found the solution on the web today, this site had a link to the solution on clearfoundation by Tim Burgess :) http://www.clearfoundation.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,232/catid,40/func,view/id,21824/ My problem was solved by 2 of these steps in this guide. 1. Installation of the version of hostapd for kernel 2.6.32+ yum --enablerepo=timb-testing --enablerepo=timb install hostapd (if u follow the guide fix the spelling on enablrepo to enablerepo :) ) 2. service hostapd stop service hosted start I recomend all who have a problem similar to mine read all of the guide from Tim to verify that everything in your settings are correct. Thanx for a good guide Tim!

Hi Tim My former kernel was: 2.6.18-194.8.1.v5 I’m not sure then or how i updatet to the new kernel: 2.6.32.21-166.timb4.i686 I haven’t used wireless for some time but then i needed i noticed what it had stopped to work. The most possible is that i have installed it via ClearOS webupdate or via yum update (it’s hard to remember). Is there any way i can find it out?
