Just join this group which looks ideal for me and I just want to let you know the following. And like Jimmy I'm from down under (Australia) but I hang out in Sydeny.
I have just completed installing my first ClearOS system for a client and after working with CC for a few years now, its very CLEAR to me that this is the right direction to take a great product like CC.
It was simple and straight forward to build, install and configure this system to replace their old CC 4.3 system, but I still learnt new things which always great.
But the fun is about to start as the next step is to install the second system for this client in there other office and connect both with a private VPN and each site will have it own intendant Internet connection.

Hi Jimmy thought id show some sign's of life in the group section.
You will find lots of very clever and helpfull people here at Clear OS. As you may well know Clear OS was previosly know as ClarkConnect. On the rather primitive ClarkConnect site we only had the forum to share info and wisdom.
So if most of them are any thing like me then this group stuff is all quite new to them. but we are getting there lol.
Any information that your are after or questions you might have probaly stand a lot better chance of getting reply's to in the forum.
Unfrotunately im both new to linux and PCD's on the whole and so not able to anserw you question. All i can say is that iv got CC 5 to work fine as a PDC with all my windows machines connected and im no LDAP wizzard.
