Well... I am looking for something that is easy to install in the home environment, and can work with my Home Electronic devices... PS3, XBOX 360, to serve movies, music, etc....

Love the idea of a Home Edition...
My wish list:
MythTV Backend
Easy to use network backup service for server and clients (e.g. Bacula in a way that my wife would understand)
VOIP (again in a way that my wife could handle)
Ventrilo/Teamspeak
Games servers (would be nice but due to the sheer volume of them this would be tough.)
My other request is for the content filtering to be made as robust as possible and the update service be offered to home users at no cost or a reduced rate. I have found this functionality in Clear OS to be invaluable in making sure that my kids aren't exposed to something they shouldn't be while using the computer and I'd love to see this be as strong as possible.

My request,
Wireless hotspot captive portals such as chillispot, combined with the user manager and billing server.
So that we can share the existing connection to each user via wireless with each account, with each of the bandwidth, and we can create a voucher system and so forth.
I think like combining easyspot (http://easyhotspot.inov.asia/) into the internal features of ClearOs ...
One more, improvement in bandwidth manager for per ip address limittation.
Just wishes...

I agree with all the above comments. The one thing I do not want to see is the lost of existing features from the Enterprise version because we are calling it Home version. ClarkConnect did this by creating Home which turned to community, professional, and Enterprise. Don't get me wrong, ClarkConnect was solid and strong and I loved the feature list. What I hated was not being able to add more than 1 public IP or addting static 1-1 NAT entries or DMZ features unless you upgraded to professional or Enterprise. Same goes to upgrading from Professional to Enterprise in order to get unlimited e-mail accounts: ) Yes I was a long time user of ClarkConnect and it makes me happy to see the evolution to ClearOS.
I say keep everything you currently offer in the Enterprise version in the Home version, but build on what home users would want and need. You know Photos, Videos, Music, Gaming, etc...
I love the e-mail proxy feature in ClearOS, can't beat how simple it is to use. There was a guy that comment on making updates free or affordable to the home user. I couldnt agree more, but how do you cut deals for the same updates for home users and not Enterprise users? I can feel the ClearOS team on this, but boy you would draw a crowd if you did.
My One and only wish aside from what I wrote up above is to add what is called CountryBlock to the firewall features. PFsense has a module you can install that will Block all the subnets from the selected Counties you want to block. This feature is absoluty sweet. I am currently blocking every country but the US based IP's and my threat levels and Spam has litterally dropped off the grid. I use ClearOS as my prefilter and Untangle as my transparent bridge filter behind ClearOS. I don't do business in other countries and I don't plan on it, so I really have no issues with anyone from outside the US from being able to e-mail me or view my website, or access any of my hosted services.
The CountryBlock Module gets its updates from http://www.countryipblocks.net/
Thanks You Guys For A Wonderful Product.

I agree with the above sentiment - it was finally great to be free from the Home/Enterprise split in ClarkConnect, even if I do only have 1 WAN... ;) I have no need however for a hotspot in my home environment...net cafe edition maybe??
I guess one way of implenting the home edition is keeping the back end the same (i.e. the same processes) but with a slightly different webconfig and configuration focus. Working towards a more "wizard" based configuration approach, which would make certain assumptions about parameters?
In terms of features, some I use at home.... Wireless, upnp, simple file sharing, simple backup solution, Gallery3, MiniDLNA, Content filtering with time controls, webmail (Zarafa) with calendar, Bandwidth management...
IMHO a home server should focus on keeping, storing and allowing users to access their digital media in the most seamless way possible, whether it be locally or remote from home :)

DLNA would be a must in addition to something like firefly or even media tomb. Also some out of box support for apple would be useful for the fruity folk.
Bacula while its easy enough to setup needs to be further simplified, for the average joe
Hylafax support would be useful
And lastly please for the love of god some support for a UPS via NUT or something out of the box

I tried Bacula a few years ago, but it seemed fairly complicated. I would be good it there was a simple backup funtion in webconfig like the online backup that you could do to usb or network drive for email and file shares would be awesome!!

How about an easy way to add static routes and the ability to allow or disallow icmp reply on the WAN interface.

The ability to build domains and login scripts for linux and windows based OS-es so that setting up a home domain server becomes a lot easier as well as the ability to let the server host the domain structures that comes with "cough" vista and Win 7...so we can build our small / medium home networks with ease.

I agree with herballizard, ClearOS really really needs a module for NUT. If there was a way to fully manage NUT via the web interface it would be heaven. ClearOS x64 + phpVirtualbox/virtualbox module + NUT module would be a perfect OS in my opinion.

In the user module would be nice to have a search engine for finding users by name, last name etc
